Alena Černejová - Senior Partner

Alena Černejová advises clients on projects of mergers and acquisitions, sale of businesses and companies. As a team leader she has advised foreign investors on their entry onto the Slovak market in a number of projects and transactions, including acquisitions of undertakings and companies, privatisations, restructuring of companies and groups, major greenfield projects, as well as projects of acquisition and management of real estates. She advises on and represents clients in notification of concentration to the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic and in other proceedings before the Slovak competition authority.

Alena received her law degree from the Law Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava in 1984. In the years 1984-1995 she worked as a research specialist in the Institute of State and Law of the Slovak Academy of Sciences where she defended her CSc (PhD equivalent) on competition law. In 1992 she was admitted to the Slovak Bar Association. During the years 1991 – 1995 Alena participated in many seminars and internships at prestigious universities and in renowned law firms abroad. In 1997 Alena joined the law firm as a partner, and the law firm was renamed to ČERNEJOVÁ & HRBEK.
